With the exception if rips in my front seat, my 70 98 has a mint interior. I want to restore the seat back to the stock however; I cant find any resorces online? I see all sorts of cutlass stuff so figured something may be available... does anyone know of a source?

SMS should have the material NOS or repo and they will make it if they don't in some cases.
http://www.smsautofabrics.com/ I don't know if anybody makes any repo seat covers? A good trim shop should be able to patch the seat with new/NOS material or make a new cover exactly like the old one with no problems. |

Nobody makes seat covers for the land yachts. I am in the exact same boat. They just aren't popular enough for the aftermarket companies to bother. I will most likely take mine to an auto upholstery place.

Thanks for the details guys! I am going to see if I can get a sample from SMS to be sure its the correct cloth. Now I need to figure out my trim code. I have a fancy stitched cloth so I want to make sure I get the right stuff.

Here two pics, one of the seat and the other with the trim code details. Anyone know how to decode this tag for me?

Just cut a small sample of the material you want from some place that does not show and send it to SMS in an envelope. They will send back to you a sample of the material they have with a price. I was able to match the original trunk material that everyone said was not available anywhere.

The trim tag should have a TR code on it but looks like one of the rivets is blocking it. Looks like 040. I'll look in the trim charts tonight and see what I can come up with. Give SMS that code and they'll send samples of what they have. I've never seen them fail to come up with the right stuff.
