What body style is your 98? Different body styles used different types of dome lights. If it is a 4-door, there were three different ones - one with a center post (Town Sedan), two without center posts. Of the two without the center posts, the Luxury Sedan had small triangular windows in the back (referred to as a 6-window) and the Sports Sedan didn't (referred to as a 4-window).

I was at the storage toady and saw my son't car but couldn't get to it! Sorry, but I see that you have a sport sedan, my son's is a six window so they would be different anyway. Good luck in your search.

I have a '64 Olds too, and it has all of its original lenses for the dome light, as well as the map and the optional courtesy floor (under-dash) lights package.
You can obtain replacement lenses from: USA Parts Supply 261 Industrial Boulevard Kearneysville, WV 25430 www.usapartssupply.com 800-872-2013 I have been dealing with these guys for years, and actually recently purchased a dome light from them which is an exact duplicate of the original. Hope this helps! |
