super 88 interior
Hi, I want to get collector plates on my car and was wondering if anyone has a picture of original seats, I'm not sure if my car was redone or not. Mine is clothe and vinyl. Thanks

I have just picked up a '55 Olds Super 88. (Original, never restored) The bottom section of my seats(where you sit on) is cloth, with a diamond pattern. The verticle section had the same cloth pattern half way up, then the top half had vinyl.

My 55 Olds is the same, and I've been told its all original.

Rechecked my seats...
George,
Rechecked my seats(stored in back of my garage) and the upper half of the seats(backs) are cloth as well. They have verticle stitching about every 1" to 1 1/2". The back side of the front seat has the diamond pattern in cloth. Can send you pics if you want. and1stp |
