Drivers side mirror remote question

Guys,
I have lost the retaining clip that keeps the plastic mirror adjuster into the bezel that attatches to the door. It has the sport mirrors if it makes a difference. Any ideas on what I can use instead?

If you're talking about the "C" shaped wire clip, just bend a piece of music wire. All that matters is that the two ends slip into the holes.

Joe,
It's not a "C" clip. It seems to be the other style. The piece that clips into the door bezel piece is long. It's about two inches long. It should have some sort of pressure type retainer.
Does that ring any bells?
