Correct trunk mat color

I ordered what I thought was the correct replacement trunk mat for my '70 Holiday coupe. When I opened the package I was suprised to find it was an odd shade of green. Is this an era correct aftermarket item? I would think that grey or charcoal would look better but I am trying to keep the car fairly original looking.

Kind of a funny greenish almost aqua/ black check type pattern was what I found in the parts car. It was deteriorated beyond use or repair. I am not sure it was what was original. I have a 68

Mitch, from where did you purchase it? I know Fusick has the correct mats. I too have a '68 and it is also the aqua/black pattern. Think it was made to match the aqua/black trunk splatter paint.

My 72 had that greenish checked patten in it originally, when it was new.

I didn't find a direct replacement, when I was lookoing, so I just put a uni-colored gray liner in.
