I stumbled across this photo while killing time... er, ah, WORKING in my office today.



I'm guessing this is a one-off parade or pace car. Interesting points:

Yes, it's a 1970 Supreme
It has 1970 sport mirrors
It has a sunroof that looks like the ones on the 1972 H/Os.



The sunroof is what's really throwing me.

 

yep, that was posted on ROP quite a while ago, not to mention it showed up in Hemmings Muscle Machines. I don't recall the exact outcome/answer as I'd have to find that magazine issue again.

I believe the one-off parade car is probably correct though

yep, I remember reading about it a few times as well - did it start out as a Supreme or an SX - i thought it had a 455 in it but maybe not - more of an appearance job than anything IIRC
