69 heads
Ok, can you guys settle a bet for me? Which cylinder heads are right for a 69 H/O? I thought D according to the guide book and what Ive seen on the net but my buddy said there was some rumor that C is right? I say why would Olds use two different heads????? I read in another thread that these cars were built like in a 3 month period so why would Olds use different heads??? I say this C thing is probably some guy that doesnt know. I alwsys thought D was right so this info was like someone telling me that not all 70 W30s had F heads! I hope Im right because if I am my friend buys me rounds of beer at the next Texans game.

You'll have to split the beer. '68-'69 H/Os with AC got C heads and non-AC H/Os got the D heads.

But this chart was why I told him all 69's had D's!
C '67 - '69 425 80 394548 A/C '68 H/O's. Toro's and 442's got big. 455 valves. Rumored to flow the best of all BB heads. Can still be found. D* '68 - '69 400 69.75 400370 All W-30. Non A/C '68 H/O's. All '69 H/O's. All big-valve. 455 69.75 400370
