Pin stripe on rims

Can anyone tell me if they have replaced the red stripe on the rims of AN 1983 HURST OLDS. i purchased the stripe but its a straight stripe on a round rim. Does anyone have a clue, thanks in advance. This is the only thing let unfinshed on my car.

sure like the 83 H/O but never had one. i do not know how you would install the stripe but someone on here will know.

I suppose you mean a decal? To be closest to original I guess that would be the way to go but couldn't you find a local pin striper to do it in paint for you? Seems to me that would sure be more permanent.

THANKS FOR THE WELCOME. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL NOS WHEEL DECAL KIT. BUT ITS A STRAIGHT PIECE OR RED DECAL THAT GOES AROUND THE RIM. I THOUGHT OF PAINTING IT BUT MY CAR IS ALL ORIGINAL 30000 MILES TRYING TO KEEP IT THAT WAY THANKS JOE
