Haha. Well, at least they're more "affordable" now, Joe.
You know, the one thing I've never read in any Hurst article was why ALL the Hurst Olds' were automatics. For the top performance vehicle, it's a little odd manual transmissions weren't even offered. I understand wanting to promote the HIS/HERS shifters, but still. I would have demanded a 4-speed if I was around back then. lol.

I saw a Beater 69 Factory H/O driving down the road yesterday. First time in about 30 years I seen that. Really I'm just happy to see the cars driving down the road. I wish all of these cars were cheaper and being driven instead of $$$$ driving them.

Yep, that's the 'Barrett-Jackson' current market value if a couple of people get in a bidding war over the car, unfortunately not the street price.
Not that Andrew did in that article, but every once in a while you come across an individual elsewhere who quotes the price on thier car based on BJ or Meccum or you pick it per the auction price... Quote:
