Good morning all together
.I ask about my problem in the "Other Oldsmobiles"Forum already.The workshop replaced a Holley 8050 B Carb for the original Rochester Carb.Is the Holley an good option?
The Engine got 215 cui,185 hp.

Holley makes a fine carburetor and if it was available then use it. I prefer the Quadrajet but that doesn't mean either carb is better or worse. I really think that is a subjective evaluation. If you still own the Quadrajet and find you have some troubles with the Holley then perhaps you can have the Qjet rebuilt while still driving the car and then make a quick switch one Saturday morning.
Good news,Oldsguy.The engine runs and so i will keep the Holley in the Olds.But i`m looking for a quadrajet to put it in our stock.Just to know i got the Original
as a reserve.Our Quadrajet was thrown into the scrap container by the sick mechanic and is lost!!!
