Gas Tank- How Big

Gas Tank- How Big

I am trying to see how accurate my gas gauge is on my 1965 Cutlass but I do not know the capacity of the tank????

I'd say 20 gallons. That's what the replacement tank is.

Thanks, gearhead1218, That's about 76 liters which is what we pump here. So when the gauge reads 1/2 then i should pump 38 liters. If you are wondering 95 octane is about $3.15 a gallon. We have 91 and 95 E85 (gasahol) which is a mixture of 15% ethanol and 85 gasoline. I run the Olds on 95.

I run about a 50/50 mix of 93 octane @ around $3 a gallon, and Sunoco 260 which is 110 octane at $7 a gallon.
