371 VS 394
I have been looking at deluxe engine rebuilding kits for both engines. My thinking was the 394 would be less expensive. This is not what I have been finding. Guess I am just to use to small block Chevy prices. My 60 D88 has the low compresion 371 2 brl engine. As I restore to original I would rather keep it that way and with pump gas being what it is it's a better way to go. So far I have found four sorces for engine hard parts with a deluxe kit rangeing from $2100.00 to $1700.00. Again thanks to Coldwar for putting me on the sources. I did find a 60 Super 88 wagon for $400.00. It's rusted badly and just a parts car. Factory A/C, 3 seats, and other options. If anyone needs some 60 parts let me know. I think the guy will just sell parts off it. Phil
