newbie here...what oil should i use in my 371??
Hello, newbie here from Indianapolis. I have a 58 olds 2 door sedan with a 371 2 barrell. What is the best oil for my ever-changing environment? Please hel[p

Newer all season oils go as far as 20-50 which can't hurt, chose your favorite brand. Welcome to our site.

Ian, understand you desire to go with the modern stuff. There sure has been lots of improvements in the chemistry industry over the last 30 years and no reason to not take advantage of the benefits.

thanks dan, cant wait to get my parts so i can tune it up. as soon as i get a good day i will post a pic or two, you will be shocked of the quality of a midwestern backyard 58. thanks for all your info and i am happy to be here at the community.
