Shade tree mechanic, new to Olds has questions about his new '66 Cutlass.

How do you remove the front mount radio antenna? I have read about removing the wheel well, but that it too far forward. Do you remove the cowling under the windshield?

Also, how do you remove the lock cylinder from the glove box in the center console. I have full access to the back. I can only see two holes on the sides that maybe some tool goes in there?

Mark, welcome to our site. Not sure about answers to your question but just want to make you feel "at home". Perhaps there is a small hole in the bezel of the lock cylinder that releases it from the console door when a probe is inserted, I have seen it done that way before. Just a vain attempt to help.
