65 Starfire questions
After several delays I am finally close to being done diassembling my 65 Starfire coupe. I'm sure the neighbors will be happy when it gone.
I bought the car for it's engine and exhaust outlets so the remainder of the parts will be listed on eBay (has been in parts for sale section on this forum). I have a couple of questions: Is there any value in the interior stainless (ie door cards, qtr cards, window bezels)? Did all the Wonder Bar radios have a foot switch? Are there any hard to find parts that I need to make sure to remove? BTW: The sale of my 65 Starfire conv. (w/ 4spd) fell through, if anyone is interested let me know. I'll probably relist it on Sunday evening. (Car is in the cars for sale section) Tad Last edited by petritl; November 1st, 2008 at 01:46 PM.. |

If you have the storage room: the rear bumper in any decent shape at all should be saved. It's a one year one model application and damned hard to find. Likewise any brightwork, inside or out though it may take a while to move.
The bucket seat cores are used in all GM cars 1958 thru 1965 so they're worth saving. If the vinyl floor mat inserts aren't trashed, save them. All factory WonderBar installations had the foot switch.
