***DOES ANYONE NEED 80-85 DELTA PARTS?

I am thinking of picking up an 85 parts car for 800 bucks THIS SUNDAY.
After sandblasting my current delta body, I've found that I need rear floors,
both wheelhouses need patch panels,
and the passenger quarter needs a patch panel.
BOTH doors are junk as well.
I'm thinking of giving up on this body and (Hopefully) using the one from the parts car since I'm only into this current body it for 100bucks worth of sand and 30 bucks worth of Por-15.

I'm trying to get a car finished for Byron and this extra $800 is going to F me over pretty good.
PLEASE speak up if you need 80-85 delta parts. You need parts, and I need money

I'll let you all know if I got it or not by Monday. I'm hopefully going to look at it tomorrow, I couldn't get a hold of the seller today

What A mess. I hate rust. Wish me luck.
At least the chassis is ready to race

Here she is....
Looks ok, but we'll see about all that. It may be worse than what I've already got.

You did not get that for $800! A sweetheart of a car.

I'm going to test drive her in an hour
The owner said the doors are rotten, which is the same problem I have. I guarantee the doors on a car like that one are 10 times better than the ones I have.

Well....
It was a great car. It was a fully loaded brougham with vin etchings on every piece of glass and bumper. Everything worked and it had 79000 miles.
Unfortunately, the doors were in fact too far gone to save, and the inside of the quarters in the trunk were full of water. It had been sitting outside in the elements for 5 years and not driven, the lacquer was all checked and you could tell there was rust under it. The guy didn't want me to poke around the metal with my awl because he listed it on ebay as well Apparently he was afraid of me making him amend mistakes with the car on his ebay ad.
I said if I can't pull the trim and poke or take the car for 800 on the spot there would be no deal.
It ended up selling on ebay for $1300 today. Good for him, indifferent for me.
I already have 2 deltas that need too much work. Don't need 3.

If I had only stopped by last week before the ebay run, I probably would have had the opportunity to scoop it up.
