1971 Cutlass Supreme

Hey guys, I want to purchase some rally wheels for my Cutty. A friend of mine has some for sale, but he does not know the year of the cutlass they came from. Does the year matter or are they all the same. Immediate response needed. Thanks.

Depends on what you want. There are two styles of centers, bolt-in and snap-in, and three different sizes (14x6, 14x7, and 15x7). The factory-correct rims for your car are the 14x7 with bolt-in centers, but any of them will fit.

You're thinking the SSI rims, which came in two flavors - drum brake only for 66-69 and large enough to clear disks for 70-71. The SSII/SSIII rims ALL clear the factory 10.75" disk brakes. They will NOT clear most aftermarket disk brakes.
