value of G body 4 speed set up?

Hey Guys, just wondering what the value of an original 4 speed set up be worth for a G body? Have bell housing, clutch fork, z bar & rods, pedals, frame bracket and metal shifter hump for the floor. I think I have the reverse lock out linkage but I need to verify it is correct. All in good shape but needs to be cleaned and painted. Any input would be great.
Thanks

Impossible to tell. I do not know of ANY G bodies that came with a 4 speed.... except possible an El-Camino.

Now if you are talking about the 1978-80 A-body stuff (that came behind the super awesome 260 in the Cutlass for example) you could probably get a few hundred for it.

The trouble with these is that they are ALL chevy bolt pattern bell housings. 4-speed was factory available only behind the 305 and then only thru 1980.

I've seen more Malibu/ElCamino versions than others, but there were more than a few Cutlass 4-speeds built from 78-80, and all with 305 Chevy engines. 260s and Busix came with 5-speeds- which weren't anything to write home about fun-wise either. Gas mileage with overdrive 5th was their raison d'etre.

But there's nothing in the rule book that says you can't put a BOP bellhousing on the back of an Olds engine that has a Z-bar boss and play that way. Pretty sure a Muncie will bolt to it.

Many years ago I pulled parts from a 1979 Pontiac Grand Prix that had a three speed on the floor. I didn't get the transmission or bellhousing before they crushed it, but I thought it was a 6 cylinder engine. If my memory is right, would that have had a BOP bell housing that would fit the V8's? That car probably had a Buick 3.8 V6, so it would have had a BOP pattern bell.
