Thumbs up The prettiest one is home

Am I happy or what!!! I think she looks beautiful!!
They did a very nice job on her!! Nice shiny new wheel well moldings too! They even painted underneath the front end, black! Let me know what you all think. She still smells like paint! I'm very very happy! She is dusty, so I have to get her all cleaned up again. I'm glad to have her home!!

The Prettiestest One?

The prettiest one is even prettier if that's possible.

That looks really good Sandy.
Now you're really sliding down that slippery slope, you have to do the rest of the underbody now, detail the muffler bearings.

Did you keep the old parts?

Is that a car hauler on the back of the truck?
Where did you hide the truck at the show if so? I always see those rigs parked a few blocks away hidden on side streets or in lots when they say no trailered cars.

Thank you all very much! Thanks for putting up with me - I know I tend to get over-excited!
Hey there Bluevista - where you been?? I had them take the muffler bearings off - too much work keeping up with them! LOL!!
Yes I kept the old parts - I didn't get the bumper back though, I need to call and find out where it is. Hopefully I won't ever need it, but you never know!

You're such a sh**!!! Yes that is a trailer hooked up to Larrys truck! Not a car hauler though. I think a car would go right through it! He hauls his big John Deere with the bucket on the front back and forth to the new shop - he's cleaning and clearing over there so we can start moving machines. I don't have a "trailer queen"!! Though she is worthy of that! I brought her home from Dons on Monday night - raining on and off, dark, bugs!! I didn't like it! I will spend tonight detailing!!

Did you make it to the Aurora show last weekend? I don't see any coming up that I will be going to. Darn, I can't wait to show off my car!

Hey Allan! Thanks! Scroll on down towards the bottom of the General Discussion forum, and you'll see my post from the Glen Christian Church Ox Roast - click on that. Our buddy Bluevista posted some pics of her interior and engine!
Then go to page 2 either at the top or bottom of the Gen. Disc. page and click on my post from "Pictures of today's Car Show". I put pictures of her on there too.
Those are all pics before getting the new bumper, grilles, etc.. put on her... you can see the difference!

I'm a what!?

I wouldn't mind having a trailer just to keep the car clean before shows, I drive it plenty.
I wouldn't mind a big John Deere tractor with a bucket either, the damage I could do would be incomprehensible.

I was doing lousy yard work that had to be done because of all this rain we never got so I didn't make it to the Aurora show. I went by there later and there were about 50 cars parked close together on the grass. There were about a million Canadian geese on that grass the day before when I went by.
My daughter took the other (good) PC to college so it's tough getting computer time with only one at home, my wife has to play Facebook games and the other one is looking for bars to go to all the time.
I have to wack this thing every once in a while to keep it going, I still can't figure out how to change the oil.

Hey there stranger than me! Nice to hear from you! You didn't make it to the show, huh? Too bad. Probably a good thing cause there was more than likely a ton of goose poop everywhere! LOL!!! It was a nice day though. I spent it catching up on laundry and all that good stuff after being away from home for 4 days.
It was a trying trip. I had Advanced Auto read the computer in the Intrigue and it was showing "secondary air supply" so he cleared it and sold me a new gas cap! The hanging strap on my gas cap doesn't fit this new cap, so I will probably have to get another cap! (yes, I have to have it on the hanging strap!) She is still running good. I have to see if I can get her out to Defer next week and get her checked out.
So, only one "near brawl" with the brothers while we were out there! Just add beer and instant a***ole! I knew it would happen. Didn't have to bail anyone out of jail, so it was a good thing.
I spent part of tonight cleaning the prettiest one! I went through withdrawl while she was away! It's a good way for me to de-stress, polishing and cleaning!! I figure if the steel industry ever goes under, I'll get a job detailing cars!!
