P/S pump alignment 455
I have a 72 olds witch originaly had a 350 Ac but was switched to a 455 ac. I have had problems with the alignment of the power steering pump pulleys since I bought the car. Nothing is bent. There are two sleeves used to bush the pump out to the proper setting. I can not find these sold except at Year One and the diagram in my assembly manual shows two of them that are used. The bushing or sleeve in the front of the block is the longer one and the one down on the side of the block is shorter according to the manual. Is there a difference in the brackets between the 455 and the 350? The assembly manual shows the same assembly for both 350 and 455. Funny the discription in the Year one catalog says use where needed. Since this was all mixed together at some point before I bought the car maybe I should just toss it all and start over with the correct brackets.

The one on the timing tab stud is 3/4'' and the one on the driver's side bottom by the exhaust is 1/2"
Washers would work fine.
