My ticking 403.. ticks no more!!

Have to give props to Warhead... he came over to help diagnose where the ticking sound was coming from on my 403. I originally thought it was just the blown header gaskets.. and that was a small part of the noise.. but not all! He was dead on with the spot.. and we came to realize that whoever did the rebuild on the motor, used too large of a retainer on top the valve springs... this in turn would slightly contact the lifter causing the ticking. So after 5 hours of replacing all 16 retainers and keepers.. she ticks no more!! Thanks again Jim!!!
