I kind of feel like an idiot...

..for even bidding $100 for this. So now, essentially, I'm going to have 2 brand new knobs for my windshield wiper, headlights, and I'm sure they'll eventually reproduce the radio knobs as they're easy to do, and a sh*tty looking lighter.

Still, it was hard to justify bidding that high. Oh well. I hate smoking anyway.

Well, at least you did not bid 10K for an original steel ram-air hood!

Parts Place has reproduced the windshield wiper knob and headlight knob and arm. Talked to them about the radio knobs and that looks likely too.

The heat of the moment got you. Sometimes happens when bidding. Don't ask how I know this and don't tell my wife

Haha.

Well, I did simply think "well, the rest of the dash is going to look good, I might as well spend the money on it", but once it hit $100, I wasn't willing to go any higher.

IMHO

The problem is E-bay sometimes makes it too easy to get instant gratification on desired parts. I'd try to find it somewhere else.

Well, if you can tell me where to find a NOS '68 only lighter, please do so. I certainly haven't had any luck. I'll find one some day.

Try my buddy Paul at ROS in CT

ros6872@hotmail.com

203-272-7103 after 6 e.s.t.

I've bought tons of parts from him. He's honest and dependable and knows his parts.
