Is she, or isn't she (a 442)?

Hey,
Thought some of ya'll may want to have a look and I'm sure a comment or two. This dealer site is where I got my S from. The price is about the NADA average price. Does she make the grade? They also have a 72 S hardtop, but her price is a bit on the high side too, IMHO.

It's easy to tell if it's a real 442, as it will have a unique VIN.

There is *so* much wrong with that car that it would take extensive checking out to verify if that window sticker is for that car even if the VIN is a 442.
I'm highly doubtful that it is a 442.
First, as Joe says, verify a 344679 VIN.
If it isn't then there is a clear case of fraud, and the window sticker is not for that car. Convenient that the most critical part of the sticker (the sequence part of the VIN is gone.
I can't tell if that is a 455, but it is 350 gold.
Wrong colors, wrong stripes, wrong unholstery, wrong air cleaner, and I *think* the deck lid 442 emblems are too low on the lid.
Just for a start.
