Parts washer solvent suggestions?
I bought a small parts washer 6.5 gallons. I need to clean some pistons, valves, pushrods, rockers, connecting rods, etc.
I'd like some suggestions as to what solvent to use, and/or what to avoid. I was going to just get mineral spirits, but thought there might be something better? Thanks, Tom.

You can get 5 gal containers of the real deal at farm and barn, I know they are in northern il, but not sure about central, maybe tractor supply or napa. Otherwise I have used diesel fuel with good results. Don't get any in your mouth. It wont burn, but algae that grows in it can make you very sick, or so I have been told.

I've just used Home Depot mineral spirits with good results. Be sure to use chemical resistant gloves. I did not use them the first time I used my parts cleaner and my hands tingled for a day or so afterward. That was a little scary.

I've used Gunk before lots of times. Smells terrible but works great.
