Gold tint zinc plating...How can I remove

I am the only one that will notice but I got new power steering pressure hose and the claps are the gold tint color. Is it possible to make it silver and still be plated to prevent rust. Eveything else I have had replated clear zinc. I can't do that with a hose.

Mabey blast off the gold then clear it, I don't know how durable that would be though.
