distributor 68h/o > 66 425 toro
Cn anyone advise please if a 68 455 h/o distributor will be ok for a 66 toro engine ? thankyou

It will physically bolt into the 425 block. What we can't tell you (since you didn't give us any other info) is whether or not the advance curve is correct.

Hi Joe,
I guess I can`t give you that answer as the engine hasn`t been runing since I owned it .If I were to purchase the distributor could I have the springs/weights altered if necessary ? thanks mike |

Yes, and in reality you'll want to do that anyway to tailor the advance curve for today's gas. You can change the springs on the mechanical advance weights and you can get an aftermarket vacuum advance can that's adjustable.
