wiper motor 'hot"

Is the yellow wire on the wiper motor the hot one carrying 12V (constant) when Ign is on? Is this a good place for the electric Choke wire to connect on my Holley carb? I know, I already have a rebuilt correct Rochester waitng for me but this is just to get it back on the road to test it for Spring. Or maybe the Ign. terminal in the fuse box is better? The wiper motor is just 2 feet from the choke though. This is for a 1976 Cutlass S 350 4 Barrel Thanks.
