6 cyl coil vs. v8 coil.

6 cyl coil vs. v8 coil.

Is there any difference between a coil from an inline 6 vs. one from a V8. Would you recommended the coil from a 68 inline 6 for a '71 455? What do you suggest?

No. All Olds 12 volt ignition coils, excluding HEI, are interchangeable.

They will also work in most Brand-X applications, but this is an Olds site.
