i have a problem. my dash lifghts stay on in my car an it runs down the battery can anybody help me

Unhappy Short shorts

If this just started to happen then I would look at the headlight switch or have you just added something electrical to your car... to remove switch, pull out knob all the way (disconnect battery first) then reach under dash and on the end of the switch there is a spring loaded button which you push down and that releases the knob and lets you pull it completely out and allows access to the nut that holds the switch in-
