back up lights inop also need trailer....

Do back up lights have a seperate fuse? Everything else works just fine as far as the wiring goes.

Also, I was told a trailer wire plug is in the trunk somewhere so you don't have to do each wire individually.

Thanks

Did you check your neutral safety switch?

Depending on the car..... but it should be on your steering column, about 4-6" from the firewall.

It'll most likely be mounted on the top of your column, so you'll have to look and feel around a little to find it.

I'd give it a continuity test after you disconnect it. This sends the signal to your reverse lights when you shift into reverse.

If you have a floor shift, it'll most likely be in a different location.

Ok. I found and it is right where you said it was on top of the steering column a few inches from the fire wall. I found one on the net that could be a replacement. It is a 5 prong switch.

When I was looking at it from underneath, I couldn't tell how to take it out or disconnect it or even remove it from the column. Would it pull apart from any direction? I did not see or feel any screws or hardware that I can tell.
