A good friend has a '70 Cutlass Supreme with a factory four-speed. He's never had any trouble with the clutch and reverse gear interlocks, but the car suddenly refused to deliver power to the starter solenoid the other day after a short drive. He has done some checking of the switches, etc. but has yet to discover the source of the problem. I'm going to help him run down the problem, but would appreciate ANY help regarding most likely source of the problem, best way to check out the interlocks and the rest of that scheme, how to test the switches (ignition, clutch, transmission), etc. Thanks.
