New Wiring Harness for '67 4-4-2
New Wiring Harness for '67 4-4-2
Hello all,
I have a question. The 4-4-2 Holiday Coupe I'm restoring is in dire need of a complete wiring harness from headlight to tail light. I am looking for a good reputable supplier for a modern style harness, one that resembles a stock unit in appearance and easy of installation.
Any reccomendations?
Thanks,

Hey! Someone in my neck of the oven...
I'm thinking most of the usual re-pop place's have stock reproduction harnesses, though most of them charge top dollar (Fusick's, YearOne). I think if you are not looking for anything fancy you might try:
http://www.usapartssupply.com/ (their website needs help, but their paper catalog is very good, lots of pictures, lots of parts)
They seem to be on the lower end of the price spectrum, but I have no personal experience as to their harnesses quality.
If you are looking to get fancy, then gearhead's suggestion is probably a safe bet. I talked to another guy on the forum that used them - he had them modify a stock harness for HEI - and he seemed happy with it.

Well, I have seen what OPGI, Year One, Fusicks and the rest offered. I wanted to see what others have used. What I am looking for is an Stock style harness, that has the modern wiring/insulation upgrades for durability and safety. I'd hate to see a project burn to the ground because of faulty wiring.
Thanks.
Thanks.
