car went to storage for winter..:(
im very sad today...i live in connecticut and sold my house with my garage (damn economy) anyways i put the 66 dynamic 88 ragtop into storage today for the winter months ahead. its in a storage facility up the street from me( where im currently renting a house without a garage). i have a tarp under it and a car cover and a tarp on top of it with my carb closed off, the battery pulled and moth balls on the carpet to keep the critters away.
i feel like i just sent my kid to camp for the winter. sucks! i feel sorry for my wife, if i dont have this car to play with all winter in my garage (spousal avoidance center) i dont know what to do with myself. i do plan on selling off some parts after i clean them up and see whats salvagelle that i have kicking around...hopefully that will keep me involved until spring. ![]() |

I feel your pain brother. As I type this I'm sitting just outside of New Haven and the days are getting shorter. I'll be looking for that 66 rag top this spring. With any luck, You'll see me waving from my 68 rag top. If I had adequate storage, I'd hook you up.
