Any info and pic of 1990 88 Royale?
A person at work is selling a 1990 88 Royale in "excellent" condition with 66k on it for $2,000. I know nothing about this car and was wondering if anyone had any information or insight into:
Photo's Maintenace costs (est) Reliability (I'm not a mechanic) Trouble areas (things to watch out for) Anything else... |

Basically a pretty good car. Watch for transmission shifting problems. Most of those were addressed by recalls in the first few years. The engine is the early 3.8 liter, not a bad V6. My son owns a 92 LeSabre which is basically the same car and it is a very good piece of family transportation. Sorry, don't have any pictures but a google search should net you something. I think both the 88 and the pontiac had bucket seats optional whereas the buick was more of a "grown up" appearing car with only bench seats availble. Good luck in your search.
