1965 Delta 88 Headpipes

Does anyone know of a source for the headpipes on a '65 Delta 88?

Find a GOOD exhaust shop that has a Huth pipe bender and hopefully all the program cards. The cards show all the lengths, angles and flats that are supposed to be in the pipe and someone who knows how to work that machine can do beautiful work.

Get pipes bent in aluminized pipe for longevity.

You're aware L & R exhaust pipes are two different sizes? LH is smaller than RH on factory dual exhaust cars, though the pipe bender may argue with you on that. Don't ask why, it's one of those 60s Olds things that only the engineers who designed it know.

If it were mine, I'd order a set of Starfire chambered pipe sections from www.sweet-thunder.com and use resonators at the back with no mufflers. It will sound nice and quiet until you get on it.

You can also get repro pipes from Waldrons, Classic Exhaust, etc....they advertise in Hemmings....I have 2 66 fullsize cars with duals with factory mufflers and resonators....Its quiet just the way I like it!
