1972 Oldsmobile 88 350 Headers

Hi, first posting here so hello to everyone.

I just bought a 1972 Olds Delta 88 4 Door Hardtop, excellent car, I love it. But I was wondering if any of you had any success with putting headers on one of these cars, i did a search for headers for them and all I can find is Big Block applications and nothing for the small block 350.

So my question is, is there any chance of headers for a 72 cutlass with a 350 working in the delta 88, or is there any chance that the 455 headers would work with the heads that the 350 has?

I know that's likely a long shot, but I would love to build a street sleep with this car, and freeing up the exhaust would seem to be one of the first steps.

Big block headers will NOT work on a small block. They'll bolt to the heads just fine. The problem is that since the 350 has a shorter deck height, the big block headers will usually hit the crossmember or motor mounts.

You'll note in the links you sent that the big block Cutlass and D88 headers carry the same part number. This makes one assume that the Cutlass small block headers will also fit a D88. Often vendors will not bother to publish listings for less popular combinations, even if they fit. By the way, while I have no personal experience, many on this forum and others have had bad experiences with Flowtech headers.
