I haven't seen one lately but did see one on ebay last year. Of course it has been sold by now. Good luck in your search.

Your profile doesn't show your Location . If some one across town can help they may not post considering it a waste of time. I knew where one was but I have looked at what condition it's in you might add the distance your willing to travel and value. I'll check to see if he still has it and have him contact you .

49 Rocket 88 Coupe Needed
Thanks for the info, but you are probably right that it is gone. Not looking for a fastback or a 48 anyways. Sorry. Anyways, if anyone knows of a 49 Coupe any condition, anywhere. It means a great deal to my father. Thanks again

Not what I am looking for, but thanks.. If I get desperate enough (Not to say there is anything wrong with your car
) Are you looking to sell it? It does seem that I keep running across mostly fastbacks... |

Good luck finding one and I hope you do, the 1949 Olds 88 has nostalgic connotations for me. My favorite track coach had one in his "American Graffiti" youth in the '60s, it had the original 4 speed steel Hyrdamatic and somebody dumped a hopped up 394 with three two-barreled carbs...was one of the fastest cars in town!
