I have a friend in Sweden with a 1966 Oldsmobile 88 she has almost completely restored. She needs a speedometer cable. As you would guess these kinds of parts are impossible to find over there.
I have been asked to see if could help on this side of the pond. Are these readily available? Where? Are there other models that use the same cable I could be looking for? TIA for any help |

I've got a speedometer cable from a 1968 Delta 88, it may be the same. It runs to the drivers side front wheel rather than the later style that runs to the transmission. I've been told that 1965 to 1970 full sized use this cable method, but I don't know if the connection to the back of the speedometer head is the same. John

I really appreciate the response. Unfortunately I know nothing about the Olds 88. I will forward this to my friend. I should get some sort of response today or tomorrow. I will be in touch, thanks! |
