Question Carb size??

I have a 1985 Delta 88. I have the Rochester Q Jet carb on it, and I'm thinking about a rebuilt or replacment.

The secondary barrels where gummed up so bad, they were stuck shut. My mech cleaned it out but now every once in a while the accel gets stuck.

I'm thinking about doing a stock replacement, but with a little bit more jetting than what's in there. Does anybody know the CFM of the stock Q Jet? and over on Jegs they sell a remanfactured Q Jet in stages 1 2 and 3. I'm thinking about stage 2, but it's a 750 CFM carb. I thought I had a 500 CFM and I don't wanna go that much bigger

Stock QJet is 750 cfm. Save yourself money and aggrivation and get that one rebuilt.

Contact Dan Sarvis wblue70@aol.com. He does a lot of carbs through the mail. He's an Olds man and he'll do ya right.
