new to olds.
I just got a 78 olds 88, i only paid $1100 for it and i need a little help figuring everything out. The last owner put a 350 rocket in it out of a 74 cutlass. and put on a set of trans am wheels. 15X8. I had to fix a body mount, and then i put in a full accel HEI ignition. and new rubber. iam having a hard time finding out things about the car.
stock HP for the motor rear-end gear ratio timing for stock motor other then that i would like to lower the car with proper springs and shocks. i it dosn't hit every bump. and do a few motor mods. cam, intake, carb, port the heads. and so on. I will try and post a few pictures of the car ASAP. if you can help me n anyway, please do. |

Its a prety nice car if it was mine I would leave it how it sits. Thats an Old lady Olds keep it that way. I am a little sorry I beefed up my delta cause now the car twisted and isn't even realy worth finishing the resto on it. And don't lower it thats just a waist of time and money.

I would take a look at some Trans Am/Camaro springs I know the drop spindels go right on a malibu with a conversion ball joint and that drops a malibu 2 inches. Or you could put a big block 455 in it that will put the front end lower.
