yeh and there is the consideration that delta's were a slightly higher class like comparing a rt to a base model or a crown vic to a police intercepter.the delmont was the base model and back then was built as a posible police car and after the second year not selling as well they droped the delmont and just continued the delta.

They're rare in the sense that they were made for only two model years, but they're probably not all that rare in comparison to other Oldsmobiles of the same model year. I don't know what their production numbers were compared to Delta 88's of the same year, but the values of the two vehicles of the same year in comparable condition with comparable features are about the same.
Just as an example, my trusty Old Cars Price Guide (August issue) lists the value of a #3 condition 1967 Delmont 88 2-door hardtop with the 425 V-8 at $6980. A 2-door hardtop Delta 88 of that year, also with the 425 V-8, which I think was the only V-8 you could get in a Delta that year, although there were high and low-compression versions, lists at $7430. The difference is about 6%. That's probably not much different percentage-wise between their list prices when new.

14,471 1967 Delta 88 converts produced.

he may have more info on deltas but I was after how many delmonts mainly my model were produced.
