72 Olds Cutlass Supreme -- Fair Price??
I'm new to this board. But could use all you Olds guys expertise on this 72 Cutlass I found. Thanks in advance!!
It's a true old lady car. All-original, #s match 2 Dr HT. Low options -- bench seat, A/C, Vinyl top, No SS wheels, Soft-ray glass, no power windows... I'd say its a #3 car -- NO RUST at all (In california). 107,000 miles. Interior is immaculate. Paint is dull, 1 fender was repainted. I'd like to make a fair offer to the old woman who is the original owner. Any thoughts??? (and yes, this is true...) Thanks for any help Mark |

Gosh a very subjective thing there. I wouldn't hestitate to offer $1500 to $2000 for a respectable driver in good condition like you described. You might thrill her on an offer like that or insult her. Lots of variables.....

thanks! she's asking $5000. i looked at a couple of price guides that suggest this is fair for a #3 car. but if you've seen straight rust-free #s match 71-72s go for $2000 let me know cuz i'll wait!!

There you go! I would have insulted her with my offer. See the post Mainedogg72 made today. He paid $5100 for a '72 Cutlass so sounds like you are in the ballpark.
