69 Convertiblr rear pinch weld molding

I have a 69 Cutlass Convertible, how does the pinch weld molding at the rear of the top attach? Second, I have a top boot that is the tuck in type and I'm having a heck of a time getting it to tuck under this molding, any suggestions?

not sure if it is the same as the '70, but start the boot in the middle of the deck lid. If you can get it under the molding from there, you can work your way to the outside of each end easier. It took a good dozen times for mine to become a bit easier to use.

Leave it out in the sun for a while and it will stretch easier
