New to forum

Just joined today and wanted to say hello. I own a 67 cutlass supreme with 330/TH350 and used to own a 71 cutlass S. This seems like a great forum with a lot of knowledgeable people and hopefully I can add to it. Thanks!

1967 Cutlass

Hello, and welcome to the forum ! Your car is very nice, and is one of my personal favorite body styles. The 330 CID engine was a jewel, and could be made to run very strongly with some fine tuning. I recall a mechanic in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl nicknamed "Doc" who worked at King Oldsmobile. He drag raced a 1964 F-85 with the 330 engine , which was rated at 290 hp. with 10.25 /1 compression and a 4 barrel carburetor. I saw hime race the car at the 1968 NHRA Nationals in Indianapolis. The car ran in the mid 12 second range, as I recall, and if not for a red light foul start he may have won his class.
