I have a 69 Olds Cutlass and I need a couple of things.
Windshield wiper arm for the drivers side Question: Did a 69 Cutlass come with shoulder belts? Mine has them, but they look after market. Where is a good place to get after market or original parts. (fenders, etc)? Thanks in advance. Dean |

Front shoulder belts were federally required starting in 1968, so yes your 69 came with them. The 68-72 front shoulder belts were actually completely separate from the lap belts. The part that attached to the roof was not retractable and is stored with two chrome wire clips on each side just above the side windows. There are no repro fenders for the 68-69 cars, just Chinesium patch panels that require considerable work to make them fit correctly and look good. Other repro parts are available from the usual Olds suppliers (Fusick, Supercars, etc). N.O.S. parts are few, far between, and priced accordingly.

Thanks for the info.
You said Fusick, Supercars, Etc. Can you tell me more about the "etc" Fusick was a good lead. What is the best thing to do about those rusting fenders. The car is about 98% perfect, as far as rust goes. It's just the two front fenders, right behind the wheels. Any thoughts before it gets to bad? Thanks |
