This car right here is great and reliable. Rated 170ish hp at crank, but sadly it doesn't see anywhere near that. Which leads me to my question, what can I do to let my tires see some more action?

Of course I can add more hp, but I feel that when the Transmission eats 35% of my HP, something else need to be done. Would and automatic shifter help? Or maybe a 4 speed tranny? It's sitting with a 3 spd right now. Let me know. I'm willing to do just about anything to make this into a mini-sleeper.

I'm wondering about this right here. Made for TH350. and Mine is THM350. Any difference? Also, what's the difference between using this, and just cycling through 1,2,D ?

I'm sure there is stuff out there for that motor. RSM racing.com used to be pretty good, but I don't think they are in business anymore. The 93 Camaro used the 3400 motor, you might be able to get some parts for that motor and could help you a lot.

3300 is a chopped down 3800. With that being said, it is also a 90*. 3400 I believe is a 60*. If anything would be compatitable, it would be the 3800. But are they cross-compatitable? If so, I'm slapping a SC on it.

The 3100 and 3400 are 60* motors, but the 3300 I'm not sure of.

I always thought it was another one in the 60* family, but if your reseach is right and it's in the 3800 fam, go for the s/c

Seriously, the 3300 is a smaller version of the venerable 90 degree Buick V6, most commonly seen in the 3800 version. As others have pointed out, the 3100 and 3400 are versions of the old 2.8 liter Chevy 60 degree V6. Completely different motors, nothing interchanges.

While engine swaps are possible (a supercharged 3800 comes to mind), this is a LOT of work that requires you to become intimate with the computer programming and wiring for the EFI. The simplest solution is a wet-flow nitrous kit.
