Thanks! You just saved me $50. I was about to buy an original service manual on ebay.

Actually, that's probably the best $50 you will spend on your car! I couldn't live without mine. You can get "new" (reprint) from Year One for $79.

You can also find the Chassis Service Manual and Fisher Body Manual on CD (Detroit Iron) for about $50....but you have to have a computer handy when you are working on your car.

I agree, spending $50 on ebay for an original chassis service manual is a great investment, especially if you plan on keeping the car for awhile. The one I have for my '72 has been invaluable. ( sometimes I like to just browse thru it) Chumley

Thumbs up service manual

I'll second that on the manuel. The electrical schematics are worth the price on the book.

Doug.
Do you have a 72 diagram that you could scan and email me? I have a 72 parts car and am confused on a few of the 71-72 differences.

manual

The very first thing I did after purchasing my 1971 Cutlass convertible three months ago for a restoration project was to buy a Chilton repair manual. It was cheaper ordering it through our local Borders bookstore. The amount of information in it is PRICELESS.
