Engine paint color?
Hi all. I just pulled off the carb from my '75 Cutlass for a rebuild, and figured I would repaint the intake while I could get at it. Unfortunately, I can't find the correct engine paint anywhere. Its a metallic blue color, definately not GM Corporate blue, and nobody seems to have it listed. Any ideas?

Still no luck.
Thanks for the link Joe, I see several items I'm going to order. Unfortunately, the only blue color they list is for 70-72 455's. Any other ideas?

As far as I know, all 70-75 455s used the same metallic blue. Be aware, however, that the paint is very sensitive to application technique. If you apply it in several thin coats, it will be light and silvery. If you apply it in thick wet coats it will be more blue and less metallic.
