1979 Olds Hurst
I found a running 1979 Hurst for 1500. The owner rebuilt the carb. It has zero rust besides some surface rust on the bumper. The interior is in awesome condition. My question is are these nice cars? Do they handle nice? Good acceleration etc.? Email me at grahamrw2@yahoo.com with an answer

This board is for everyone's benefit, both the questions asked, and the answers offered. It is preferable to have people's questions answered here, as opposed to PM or private email, where only one person could read it, and benefit from the response.

bbc = Big Block Chevy.
Yes, the '79 Hurst Olds is a cool car. I don't know if it handles any better than the rest of the '78 to mid 80s G-bodies - it probably has sway bars, which would help. Acceleration? Probably ok for it's day, slow by today's or musclecar heyday standards. If a car like that was selling for $1,500 where I live, it would be snapped up quick. Check the frame where it arches above the back axle - that's a common rust area on those cars. - GoldOlds |
