I have a 95 Old Cutlass Supreme with a 3.1L engine that was rebuilt and has only 50,000 miles. body is not in to good of shape. I also have a 96 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a tired 3.4L and 200,000 miles and a blown head gasket. I want to remove to 3.4 out of the 96 and install my 3.1L. Is it as simple as remove and replace or is there cpu connections or something else that I may not have thought of.

 

I am also interested in a swap, although in reverse from the original poster.

I have a 1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme with the 3.1L. I would like to build-up a 3.4L and swap that into my car.

Anyone with experience on this?
